    Coming Up at CMF

    • Check out the  Mission Trip Fundraiser “Goodness In A Jar” on the foyer table.  Deadline to order is TODAY. 
    • Christian Ed is looking for a teacher(s) for the Mighty Minions (up to age 9) starting in the new year. Please let Holly, Roxanne, Travis or Krista know if you are interested.
    • Ladies Comforter Knotting Day Tuesday, November  14, starting at 9 am, and going until 3 pm. Come for the whole day or half; whatever works for you.
    • Elders Meeting Tuesday, November 21 at 7 pm.
    • Area Senior’s Fellowship Christmas Banquet, Floradale Mennonite, Sat. Nov. 25, 12 noon.  Special music by Sisters in Song from Bethel, devotions by Craig Frere. Tickets available from Ruth & Lyall until Nov. 19. $20.00. 
    • Memorial Service, Sunday, November 26:  We will be having a Memorial Service to light a candle and remember and celebrate the lives of friends and family members that we have lost in the past year.  Janet has compiled a list of people that we want to remember but we want to make sure that we don’t miss anyone.  If you have lost someone since the last Memorial Service, please find the list on the table in the foyer and make sure that we have it listed.  If anyone is missing, please write it in the blank spaces provided. During the service there will also be an opportunity to light a candle in remembrance of loved ones that we have lost at any time in the past.
    • CMF would like to partner with the First United Mennonite Church in Vancouver, B.C.  Craig, Ron, Jason, Williard, and Heidi had the pleasure of hearing their story at the Assembly in Winnipeg and we would like to share our resources with them. If interested, please put  your Canadian Tire money in the basketball hoop on the bulletin board over the next  few Sundays  so we can buy their youth outreach program new basketball hoops and nets. Cash donations also welcome. 

    Youth & Young Adult Announcements

    • Wednesday, 7 pm at the church – we will be filling some of the “Goodness in a Jar” as part of FIZZ
    • Goodness in a Jar Saturday, Nov. 18, 9:30 am – 2 pm. We will be filling most of the jars this day.
    • Guelph Storm Game Friday, Jan. 5. $22 for students and $26 for adults. Let Josh know by Nov. 19th if you are going.
    • Benefit Concert for Lighthouse House Projects DR:  Evening of worship Sat. Nov. 18, 7 pm with the Crosshill Hillbillies and Bear Feat at Wellesley Mennonite Church. Guest speaker, Cristian Santiago, the Lighthouse School Director, will be sharing an update.  Poster on bb.

    Coming Up at CMF

Craig, Ron, Jason, Williard, and Heidi had the pleasure of hearing their story at the Assembly in Winnipeg and we would like to share our resources with them. Please bring your Canadian Tire money over the next 2 Sundays to Heidi  so we can buy their youth outreach program new basketball hoops and nets. Cash donations also welcome.

    Youth & Young Adult Announcements

    • FIZZ Wednesdays at 7:30 pm.
    • Young Adults are going to the Ultimate Escape Room in Waterloo, Friday, Nov. 10.  Cost $20. Meet at the church at 8 pm.

    • Lighthouse Projects in Dominican Republic. There are two events to participate in to see Christian Santiago & Felix Acosta- Ortiz.

    River of Life Fellowship is hosting a Homemade Honey Dip Fundraiser. Profits will be split between River of Life Misson Team doing to DR over March break and to Lighthouse Project’s water purification system for Villa Altagracia. Come Sat. Nov. 11 from 1 to 3 pm, to Shakespeare address below and meet Christian and Felix. Donuts will be on sale $15 per dozen or $8 for half dozen. Please order donuts by Tuesday of this week.  Donut pickup 1 – 5 pm at 1747 Line 33 Shakespeare. Email contact available from admin office.

    Benefit Concert for Lighthouse House Projects DR:   Join us Sat. Nov. 18, 7 pm for an evening of worship with the Crosshill Hillbillies and Bear Feat at Wellesley Mennonite Church.     • Hockey Night at Drayton Arena, Sat. Oct. 28 @ 9 pm. Cost $10. Full equipment. Please let Josh know if coming.  
    • Anniversary Celebration – The Hallman children have planned a 30th anniversary party for Mark and Heidi at McCabe's Pub, Kitchener for Sat, Oct 28th from 6 to 10 pm. Please stop by if you have time and join the fun.

    • New CMF Logo – You are encouraged to use your  creative skills and submit new logo idea to Travis Weber. trais65@gmail.com.  The new logo will once again be based on the CMF Mission Statement which is “Enthusiastic followers of Jesus Christ, spreading His good news to the community and the world.”

    Coming Up at CMF

    • Next week’s Future Directions Sunday School, 9:45 am in the Fellowship Hall.  Pastor Craig will lead the class, in preparation for the upcoming MC Canada Special Assembly in Winnipeg. Adults, young adults and youth are encouraged to attend.
    • Annual Fall Retreat October 13 – 15 at Silver Lake Camp. Sign up sheet and menu on foyer table.  Retreat brochures in your mailboxes.
